You should check the temperature of the tank after the fire for some time to ensure that it is not so hot. Apart from that, what you makes no difference. Set as long as the growth of algae will grow, but. I turned on the light in the tank when I get home from work, then turn them before bed (about 6 hours).

There are certain conditions:
1. Too much light heats the tank is not correct, especially if you use a filter or a plate and an aerator in the tank of the work (except of course if you have a 100 watts or more) position.

2. The light is used for the original plant growth and aquarium, so that the display lights up to 15 or 40 watts (10 characters G) recommeneded, 8 to 10 hours. With the superior illumination of the container begins to green.

3. UF / fluorescent color or fluorescent light is not harmful. But remember Senstive fish are very minor variation, for the first time in the light of the room and after a time change to aquraum change reversed the procedure, the light from the aquarium. Good Luck

The question is how much heat it emits light. If it is too hot, will probably also affect the water temperature at the top of the tank. This should not be a problem with a 15W light. If it's a fluorescent light, then there is a problem because the fluorescent lights give very little heat. You need to have thermometers in different areas of the tank and check the temperature of water per day. The light should be in the tank of at least 12 hours per day, up to 16 hours a day, a commitment and leave for 14 hours. When UV light, I recommend against it because the light is not natural and not a natural environment for your fish.

Do not worry about the lights do, in fact, can, if you add plants in the tank to another aspect of better plant growth. Thats most likely to kill the little fish are adults and Fich other guppies in the tank. Remove Tham in another container to keep it in a small case of fish floating in the reservoir and provide great reluctance to the use of plants dense and bushy. I hope that helps.
